From 9th to 10th April, the contest innovathon with topic: Health care took place at ITP. The contest was held by Global PAT Science and Technology Company, ITP and IBM Vietnam.
In Ho Chi Minh area, the contest attracted the participation of 17 teams and individuals. During 24 hours working, the teams were met mentors for advice and support the idea. Besides that, the mentors also raises questions, the issues related to the idea of the teams.
Thought the contest, The Organizing Committee found 6 great ideas that are very creative and highly realistic. There are:
FCare – FCare team: The product is an application used to inform your peril for relatives. It also can help accident victims by take a picture of their number plates and send to Fcare system to inform the relatives of the victims.
Clean foods deliver system – FOHU team: The product is an application to help consumers order clean food in the National University area and surrounding areas.
Healthy Game – D2M Team: The product is a game to help players learn the knowledge about food, diet. Besides that, this application also offers useful advice and diet to suit each individual at every time and circumstances.
Heart Care – Mr Dinh Tien Vu: The product is a heartbeat sensor app and action sensor to health care and send alerts to the patient's relatives.
Baby Sun – Mr Tran Dinh Anh Khoa: The product is an application for pregnant women. This app reminds and management of vaccination, antenatal history, nutrition, fetal status and to help the mother interact the fetus via image icons. It also provides information about weather, climate, diseases, and external impacts affecting the health of pregnant women.
Home Doctor – LAY Team: The product is an application that helps treat at home and appointment scheduling with doctors in the Home doctor system.
After the jury discussed and adopted scorecard, the organizers decided to award 2 first prizes for FCare and Baby Sun.The winning teams will receive $ 30,000 awards include support and consult to develop idea from professionals worth; incubated within 1 year; the course "Developing innovative technology enterprises" Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and making product’s trial by GPAT for 3 months.
The contest was a chance for the participants be met mentors, be learned and researched the problems of the areas in which they are interested. Thereby, they can make applicable products serving for the development of life’s standards.
