In the chain of activities to support the community startup in the startup ecosystem of ITP which prepare the 2nd iStartX Program will coming soon. ITP organizes Bootcamp Program for trainee from 14th December to 18th December at Information Technology Park.
The main objective of the program is teaching methods and skills to help individuals / companies innovate and develop products. Introduction to the basic tools and steps to help start-up businesses mitigate risk and grow well.
The high level goals of the program are to kick off iStartX Program by:
• Teaching a foundational set of innovation skills and techniques to promote best practices amongst project teams in iStartX program and their individual representatives;
• Laying the foundation for future iStartX activities by exposing companies to key concepts around innovation.
These results can be measured by:
• Detailed goals for each curriculum session and activity (see below);
• Two surveys, one at the end of day 3 and the other at the end of day 6, given to the companies to gauge their comprehension of and comfort with the materials;
• A draft of goals and priorities created by the companies (with the support of the Coaches) for the following 3 months.
After boot camp and training program, project teams can be applied:
• Innovation toolkits to generate ideas, validated ideas and customer development.
• Understanding Business Model Canvas and applying this tool for generating hypothesis, customer discovery, and customer development, building the company or pivots to iterate their ideas.
• Pitching structure and skill for future development.
• Understanding finance and legal problems of startup.
Most importantly, a successful Boot camp can be measured by the strength of the working relationships formed between the project teams and the Coaches. Ultimately, this Boot camp is the first week of a much longer engagement, and the ability for the Coaches and the companies to work together productively is critical to the success of the iStartX. This will be measured primarily through qualitative feedback from companies throughout the program, as well as through daily debriefs amongst the Coaches.
